Will tell you what PQ or WL is soon!
PQ = Pooled Quota = Org to intermediate stations.
No RAC in PQ. ONLY one PQ in a train. Confirmed at charting at origin.
RL = Remote Location
There can be RAC and more than one RLWL in a train. Can be used to clear general quota WL. Cleared at charting 4 hours before departure at booking point.
VSP is letting loose his 'trade secrets'' ! Giving tips and tricks as to how you can use the Quota systems to your advantage.
If you are not at BSL.. you will not get the special tips. Serves you all right ;)
VSP is now fielding queries from the delegates. He's better than Alan Knott was behind the stumps!
Non-attending delegates can email their issues to the Time-Table himself!

ReplyDeleteIf nothing works out, pester for HO quota. Two berths will get confirmed for a group of 4 !!
Btw, VSP gaaru, what will be chart indication for the 'to be introduced' tatkal trains ? Will All have 'Ck' prefixed against their name in the chart ?

When, I use indian rail website, and find use 'Seats availability' option and put train no. 12608 for ACC accomodation from SBC to CBE ( where the train does not go at all), it shows like this.

Why it is showing upto JTJ for 12608, instead, 'Station not in ISL of train' which we should usually get ? What are the other possible trains in this category ?
Similarly, I can get accomodation availability for 12712 (pinakini) from MAS to SC ( shows upto BZA)
Of course one can get a BPT from SBC to CBE, using 12608/12675 combination.

ReplyDeleteI too entered the same details as provided by you and the result was same as yours but I would say you to enter the details once again and read the note at the top. See this note which appears above the result -
